I have been given a Coleman weather master tent, but, there are no guy ropes! is this normal? when erected it seems fine but i'm a worried that it will fly off without them !!!!!

You can buy them from any camping store and simply attach/tie them on yourself. I wouldn't camp with no guy ropes, bit of wind and it's a case of "Tent last seen crossing the Irish Sea".

where did the tent come from?...it should have attachements tabs for guy-ropes?...if not for some reason ( ? )...you can get things called Kling-ons....or Cling-ons....about a fiver for a pack of 4 or 5 I think it is...google it and you should find it...these you can clip to the tent and then attach the guy-ropes.

There appears to be a tarp/flysheet that goes over it and the guy tabs are connected to that, at least it looks like a separate fly17

Haven't actually seen one in the flesh so i'm guessing
