Decided I would get a couple of trugs for camping as they are squidgy and i can fill them with stuff when i pack the car

Couldn't decide what sizes I needed or how many so got a bit carried away and came away with 2x40 litres (£7.99 for the 2) and 2 x 15litre ones (£2.49 each)

Small one will use as a bucket and for dog water.  Large one will throw all the shoes in it.  And other small one will probably get used as waste bin in main tent

I know someone mentioned they carry all the washing up to the sink using one

What else do you use them for?

My lovely new trugs in a sort of co-ordinating outwell green shade...

How come girlies want to put everything in containers ? When I'm loading up the trailer I have to discard the containers the great she devil packs things in. I can get twice as much in the trailer just by piling everything in and sorting it when we get there. Containers ? Bah !! That's too girly.

yep blokes pack everything loose, it all falls out and takes ages to transport in and out the house and at the campsite

then you've got no container when you get there either

When we stay on a site without showers I stand the kids in a 40litre one and bath them in it.  It only takes a kettle of water and then cold and some bubble bath.

They are 5 and 7 so not sure when they will get too big.

Filled up with cold water and put in the shade they make a great wine & beer fridge.

I find that they are handy for keeping things off the grass - no groundsheet.    Also for keeping those fiddly bits tidy - you know the stuff, the extra bottle of pop, beer etc. that you otherwise be rolling around the awning/tent.
Last time one got used as a bin - with a binbag insde.  

The kids used the smaller one when we filled up the paddling pool.

Use mine to carry washing up down to sinks, great as it fits everything in and cos its squashy I can carry with one hand. When at home, I use it for laundry from washing machine to line as its easy to carry through my patio door. Have one in garage for alllsorts and one in youngsters outside toy chest to hold balls etc

Love mine and very glad bought them only paid a couple of £ each
