We always pack the car the night before, but have a galaxy with privacy glass. The roof box stays on from weekend before first trip to weekend after last and more or less stays packed through the season. A few bits change depending on which tent and how long we are away. All chairs tables and kitchen hardware stay up here.

Entire wall of garage given over to a custom built camping storage unit on here we store our gear in storage boxes and its sorted into long/short stay. Some stuff we duplicate and it also means a good excuse to buy more/diffrent gear to try. The relevant boxes are moved to the car and then bedding, food and walking gear thrown on top.

In the morning just load kids, wife and fridge (not usuallly in that order!!) And always leave the house by 6am. our youngest is normally still asleep and is just carried to his car seat. We norm go to the same sites and have a stop roughly half way to feed youngest and get him dressed.

We pack everything exept toiletries,  cool box, coats and pillows the night before, then all we have to do after breakfast is grab these bits and the kids and off we go.  We are planning on leaving about 5am (hopefully) for our next trip in three weeks and can't really pack anything more the night before.

I have to get everything into a 65 litre pack which usually takes a couple of attempts - so the night before is the time to pack

i start packing weeks in advance, and then start to repack and panic during the week before we go, then i will unpack everything and repack again a few days before, and then put it all away, then, with the intention of getting it all packed, properly, the day before we go, i will be running round in a complete stress having hissy fits at everyone and everything on the day that we leave, cos i forgot to pack anything the day before!

we are lucky to get away before tea time!

now you can see why i dont leave the island.....ferries to catch- not on your life!!!

We tend to get the clothes packed and ready the night before and have the camping bits together...  A bit manic in the morning, but we tend to get the five of us on the road by 10:30 - we can do earlier, but 10:30 is a nice time for us...

A final clean / hoover / making of the beds is a must for me (not so much for my wife, so it's a bit hit & miss...)
