Does anyone else use my pastie warming method or have any other novel heating methods?.
On leaving beach to return to campsite buy your pasties (bigger the better). Must be in a paper bag it gets a bit messy with plastic.
Wedge pastie bag in the engine compartment of the car near the exhaust but not touching. Drive back to campsite. Leave pastie in engine compartment until beer and sauce bottle are out.
Remove hot pasties and enjoy.
Note - If car sets on fire do not admit above method to insurance company.
We went to Trevornick last year and on the beach at Holywell Bay , they had a proper pasty van. A blast in the sea and a quick dry off , then a fabulous pasty and a cool glass of wine , whilst digging my toes in the sand.
Bliss.
Seriously hungry now lol.

I'm not so shy now .Am colourful pyjama- wearing person who likes to say hello.
Minty - she's a girls best friend and Aurora and Colin keep us snug and warm.
Now look, all this talk of pasties and cream teas....I'm going to have to make the 14 hour round trip to Cornwall, now and get some of both....back in half a day....
We have wrapped our pasties in foil and done the same thing. Amazing! I wonder if the type of car you have makes a difference? We had a Mitsubishi Spacewagon diesel when we tried it. Don't know if we'd get such good results with a Honda CRV?
