Does anyone else use my pastie warming method or have any other novel heating methods?.

On leaving beach to return to campsite buy your pasties (bigger the better). Must be in a paper bag it gets a bit messy with plastic.

Wedge pastie bag in the engine compartment of the car near the exhaust but not touching. Drive back to campsite. Leave pastie in engine compartment until beer and sauce bottle are out.

Remove hot pasties and enjoy.

Note - If car sets on fire do not admit above method to insurance company.

I dont really - not got room to fit it in sadly! May bear your plan in mind on my trip to Cornwall at the end of next week!!

Dribbling at the thought of all the pasties and cream teas to come!

I use the oven, little lemon we're off to cornwall too so you're welcome to use my oven as a safer method!

 We just took ketchup with us and ate them fresh, sat in the car

We went to Trevornick last year and on the beach at Holywell Bay , they had a proper pasty van. A blast in the sea and a quick dry off , then a fabulous pasty and a cool glass of wine , whilst digging my toes in the sand.

Bliss.

Seriously hungry now lol.

Stop it stop it.  I'm off to Cornwall on Monday.  I'm on a diet.  I will resist.

Mmmmmmmmmmmm, a proper cornish cheese and onion pasty, my mouth is watering at the thought.

 All this talk of Cornwall, can I just mention that cream tea's are a Devon thing.

 Mind you, the pasties are pretty good in Cornwall
