Hi all, we are due to go on our first camping trip this year on 26/07 and as the weather is hit and miss at the moment I was wondering what people do to stop it getting muddy outside the tent entrance. I was thinking of useing tarpaulin or buying some eva mats but wondered what everyone else did. Thanks

Outwell DO provide a door mat

It is the size of a postage stamp

Camping pixies will be able to wipe their tiny feet on it

We use an old towel and take our shoes off

We are not pixies, we are slobs

I put a piece of cardboard in the bottom of the boot so if it gets muddy we have a free door mat outside the tent. We usually have a cheap picnic rug inside the tent to catch muddy feet etc.

If its really bad then we  try to alternate which door in the tent we use to even out wear around the tent. Both our tents have 2 exits!
