Got the montana 6 up in the garden all week as when we were on holiday 2 weeks ago we had to pack the tent up while it were raining. We put it back up when we got home and its been rain on and off all last week.
This weekend though the wind got at it and snapped the side porch pole, no water come in though so that's a good thing.

Curl Away 5. Cheap and cheerful. Only £30 from Asda. Stood up well to 3 days of wind and rain.

It hammered down on us for a good few hours outside Blackpool last Saturday night, but the old (new) Minnesota stood firm - and dry!

Hammered down most of last night. Our Outwell Michigan stood up to it well - nice and snug and not a drop inside.

Just returned Fridaty to Monday camping in Cambrigeshire. Pitching in gale force winds and rain, nice, (know why they call it the 'fly' sheet now,17.)

My tent flexed and bent all through the night Friday, seemed to be doing its own Mixican wave. I daren't sleep, cause I thought the tent might take off if I shut my eyes for a minute. Then, the rains came Sunday night, ground was soaked, and rain came in under the fly, but no leaks through the material, and we were all snug and dry in the bedroom pod. So 10 out of 10 to my little Campus Sherpa 4 tent. Small but perfectly formed.17

Any comments on the OP's question about condensation would be welcomed.

I have just come back from Wimbourne nr Poole, we used our Gelert Meridian which has 5000HH.

Most nights were cold and wet and there were four of us in the tent. Most mornings if I ran my hand along the inside of the canvas is was very damp to the touch although I never saw any leaks or dripping anywhere.

However at the end of our week when I lifted one of the internal tents there was a small puddle of water under it.

I hadn't seen any leaks and the internal tents were as dry as a bone so I am sure it was a build up of condensation through the course of the week rather than a leak - but what do you guys n gals think?

We have a Sun Valley 8.  I was a bit worried about going away this weekend as I have never used it in rain or wind before.  We had plenty of both this weekend and it stood up to it really well. No leaks at all.

As for the previous post we did not have any rain at all last night where we were and the inside of the tent was soaked this morning.  It is condensation that's all.

If your car windows are misted over when you get up it is a good sign the conditions/temperatures are right for you to have condensation inside the tent.

We were camping at Speyside in Scotland and it rained solidly from Friday afternoon till Saturday evening.

We had to pitch in the rain and the new Vango Tigris 400 stood up to the rain and wind very well. However, I noticed some drips when the wind blew and I put this down to condensation (even though I left the vents open overnight). Two of us and a dog being inside all the time combined with wet coats etc. made condensation inevitable IMO.

Our Horizon never leaked but we did get condensation on inside of tent, but never puddles of it.

we have a vango diablo 600 about 4 years old now.
we went to somerset 2 years ago and we were at the top of this hill with gale winds about -8 all night, i was definaly thinking our tent is going to take off in a mo we used the standard tent pegs, anyways we woke up next morning and no one elses tents were standing apart from ours.
the tent is very much waterproof SIG so nice and cosy no drafts or leaks and by god not one pole went.
