Hi
We're off to the Gower on Friday for 8 days and had been planning on taking our bell tent with a spearate groundsheet and, as it's my birthday we were planning a romantic break with rus and cushions etc etc... The weather doesn't seem to be getting any better though and I'm beginning to doubt my choice of tents. Firstly I've never put the bell tent up in the rain and have always laid the groundsheet out first. This wouldn't work in the rain so I thought I could put the tent up first then slide the groundsheet in under the pole. BUT, if the ground was muddy (which it's likely to be) then the tent would get muddy too as it's laid on the floor. Does anybody else have any experience of putting a bell tent (without SIG) up in the rain? I know once up it's fine in the wind but I'm also concerned now about the rain. Cheers, Annabel
