we put tarp down so know where the tent is going.

Prep poles each side.

Top poles one at at time start from back , i put side pole in and  pin OH puts his pole in and pins, we guy rope the back to hold and work forward 123 pin and clip. once poles are erected the rest is just squaring it.  One of the easiest and quickest tents we have ever had. We find putting the extension up longer in winds due to it flapping about.

OH and I are useless so any help very much appreciated.

Last year a couple with their older children turned up in the evening as light was fading fast. They seemed to know what they were doing so us helping would have been more of a hinderance. The best thing we could do was offer a cuppa which I think went down well.

Camping is so appealing because of the general well being and friendliness.

That is very true, my recently widowed friend decided to give camping a go with her two young children, but she was worried about getting the tent up, I said to her generally wherever you go someone will help if you need it, that is just the camping way!!!

She did practice at home, but on site struggled and she said no end of people helped her get set up, she was very appreciative and very happy.
