I've got waterproofs so thats one thing ticked! Must remember to take extra towels, lol
Also spare change of clothes in case you get soaked.
I only recently discovered the joy of dry warm feet by wearing waterproof ankle boots, after being soaked to the skin when I went out for a quick walk with Borda shortly after my partner's death, as my trainers have air holes at the top! And one of my jacket pockets was filled with water as I did not close the flap properly, DOH!
One of my colleagues at work who walks quite a lot suggested waterproof shoes, and my life was transformed!
I still do not like going out and about in the rain, neither does Borda, however, it is no longer as daunting as it once was. In fact, a quick walk around the block in the rain is quite pleasant.
Good luck with your trip, you'll be fine I am sure.
