Night before if I can. Ideally I'd have a car packed and waiting, on permanent stand-by and then we could be off at a moments notice.

We too, are off on tuesday.

We would normally leave the trailer packed, but as we have recently sold our smaller one and bought a bigger one it is unpacked. Hubby just yesterday finished extending the sides, and we had every intention of packing it today....but it was peeing down ALL day, and everything would have got soaked moving it from shed to trailer!

I am at work all day tomorrow, then hubby at work in evening, I am hoping it will be nice and dry between six and seven so we can get trailer packed up, then i will get everything in front room ready to put in car on the Tuesday morning.

Shouldnt take too long and should be off by half eleven, we have only got about hour and half drive.

For long trips where the potential exists that not everything will fit, and where we'll be leaving early in the morning, we pack the night before and just load the cooler bag and personal stuff like cameras etc. when we depart.

For weekend trips, we load up just before we leave, with eveything ready to go in the lounge the night before.

Clothes are packed in the suitcases before hand trailer and car  is packed the day were  going, its not too bad packing the camping stuff as its all stored in  one shed and then carried through the gate  into the drive where the car is so not far to carry it, in the boot goes sleeping bags, pillows suitcases shoes and coats  in the car we put the cool box on the back seat in between the 2 girls to stop them fighting! also we then got cold drinksin coolbox close by if  a drink is needed!
