Hi!

I am just about to purchase a front extension for our wonderful Monty 6 tent. We have some concerns about erecting it. We struggle a bit with the tent as I have a serious back problem. Our friends who erected the extension for the first time, last week, found it much more difficult than the tent (Taking two hours), hence I am a bit worried. Mind you, it may be that they were doing it wrong, as all comments say it is very easy, but perhaps not.

Have you any tips as to how to erect it with the least of struggles or is there a video like that of Yeoman's for the Monty6?

I look forward to your tips!

Thanks!

Joe

We tend to get the roof clips on first, then feed the roof poles in and add the leg poles as you go - release the tensions straps to their slackest and then tighten as you have erected it.  I manage and I'm a bit of a shortarse.
