Your first one? We're just about to get ready for our first camp this weekend, and I'm really excited now. I'll probably hate it knowing my luck.

Not our first trip,4th this year, but only been camping about 3 years. OH was always keen and eventually he and the kids wore me down! Now I'm addicted! Enjoy your holiday,Daviebroon, I'm sure you'll love it.

Were off at 2am on Sunday morning for the early morning Dover ferry. Not started packing apart from a few essentials added to the shopping list this week.

Ok getting stupidly excited now. I'm usually a nice hotel person... dunno whats come over me.
Just started buying all the little bits for my first trip. Got a load of stuff today. My fav so far is my Son of Hibachi and the UFO lights [can't believe how bright they are!) £3.50 asda bargain! Got the footprint etc too. I've still to get a table, chairs, and a stove. I've only got a bloody clio, and half of that space will be taken up by the dog!
Havn't even practice pitched yet, and I go away on Saturday lol. I can see this being a epic failure.
