Hi all,

I'm looking for a carpet for our Outwell Vermont XL - anyone know where they might be discounted? Everywhere I look they are around the £70+ mark. Will pay this if I have to but they never seem to be in the sales.

Just thought someone might know.

Thanks!

Cant see anything much under £70. Tentfactory have them for £69.99 including 09 colours.

Last year blacks and others did reduce them down towards the end of season but given the demand this year I wouldnt expect too much.

They are one of the things that never seem to move much price wise.

They are expensive for what they are but they do make a difference. You can carpet some bedrooms for less than the cost of some tent carpets!!

I always think it's a good idea to try and get a deal with it when buying the tent so you at least save £10-£15 on it.

Went to go look for a carpet in my Tigris 400 today... £80 they wanted. Turned around, would rather do without.

Hi Folks,

Can I suggest checking out

http://www.busyoutdoors.com/shop/awnings-tents/tents/royal-tent-carpet/prod_277.html?ccSID8643dd60547e611052421a6659ed64d2=c594a2d532ebfb88129c6ec50892afcd

I discovered it looking for a carpet for our Outwell Nebraska XL (310x280) , The Royal Pescara 8 is a copy and the same size footprint - also the carpets are £40 cheaper than Outwell (but a matching green colour scheme)

I note the Vermont XL living space is 270x 480
the Bordeaux 6 XL is 410 x450 (get the scissors out), you miss 15 cm at each end but the cost will be £65.00 icl postage. Or you could try the Pescara 8 rug Dark Green/Light Green scheme as a centre rug for £46.. inc postage.

I tracked an ebay listing for a well used Nebraska XL carpet, it went for £66 with £15 postage?!?!
