If you epilated you could go a week easily without having to do it again and if you need / wanted to, you could just do it in your tent. It's noisy though, but it'd just sound like a kitchen appliance haha
When I tried it, the screaming drowned out the noise of the machine itself.
try veet in shower hair remover - you put it on wait 1min and then you can continue showering whilst it continues working- you leave it on for 3 mins but 6 mins max. Just done mine this am and it works for me!
i shave. I do it in the shower, but the odd times, (when i've been really desperate) i've done it in the tent, with a towel and bowl of hot water. My tip for the showering n shaving thing, is Johnsons have brought out a shaving shower gel. It's fab! Washes as well as thick ebough for you to shave and leaves the skin lovely and smooth.
My mothers tries the epilator things.....it's put me off ever trying to use one. Looks and souinds awful and painful. I'll stick with my lady razor i think!
------------- love shopping, love a bargain even more!
I used to get them waxed, but when I was skint I stopped so now I shave. I shave under my arms anyway so there is no extra equipment that way. I have sometimes used creams, but I've had a reaction a couple of times and I certainly couldn't be bothered with the faff whilst camping!
------------- There will be good days and bad days and THIS is one of them.
I shave too, using a disposable razor in the shower.

hope this helps Nina x
That's what I use at home. I have to leave it on for 10 minutes to get any results! That's why i don't fancy using it whilst away.
Gawd, I wouldn't worry about it, it's that flippin' wet and freezing you'll have your thermals and a fleece on!
Seriously though, a leg wax is well worth it, but choose your salon carefully. DON'T have your pits done though, unless you are into exteme pain. I had one done, no way could have gone through another and I'm no wuss. I delivered a breech babe naturally and a another with no pain relief whatsoever, but I still couldn't take a pit wax! Razors rule there for me I'm afraid.
Don't worry. I'm happy enough using a razor there!
