where are you going? we're off Friday and I wouldn't trust any forecast to be correct that far ahead ! We're still planning to go ( also for 11 nights )....the only thing that will stop us is if there is a serious weather warning the night before we go. I happen to think that things might well have improved by next weekend....you've got to think positive !!
We are new to camping and have just had a week comprising of 50% high winds and heavy rain, 25% so-so and 25% glorious sunshine...........we loved it! .....all of it.
Be safe and take plenty of warm clothes just in case and it'll be fine.......have a great time.

Welcome back - did you miss camping so much that you brought up the subject of Christmas and New Year??
I did and it's still a firm NO, Madrid on the cards for NY, and that is tempting (used to live there and it's my fav city after Lyon).
After an honest appraisal from the site owner and the offer of a transfer, we have decided to put off our trip to the Lakes. It's not the rain that bothers me it's the thought of pitching on a muddy bog! So, as we've got a travelodge booked in Cumbria we're setting off early tomorrow morning, having the day in Blackpool and then heading to the travelodge for an overnight stop, then back across the Dales.
We still have our trip to Jasmine Park next week to look forward to.
