Well, thank goodness that you've ditched the gazebo.
I've got a Royal Dayroom which I use as a kitchen tent; mine is the photo with the reviews. Very sturdy. But not sure how easy it will be to get one.

~Outwell Oaklahoma, it's great easy to put up and down. Great fly screens on all 4 doors, very warm when doors are down.

We have a sunncamp dayroom which is fab, very waterproof. It has clear windows (with optional covers) on two sides and two mesh (with optional covers) on the other two sides and you can unzip and fully roll each of the four sides.
I like the mix of windows and mesh. My friends have what I think is he Royal dayroom (it's 50p shaped?), they don't like the fact that it doesn't have covers on all of the windows so it's difficult to use it well to create shade plus if they use it as a kitchen/storage their stuff is always on view, this would be less of a problem on ordinary campsites but more of an issue on "event" sites.

We have the quechua base seconds and the base seconds 4.2. Both can be put up in minutes and taken down in about 5. The quechua base is the perfect size for a day tent, we used ours in gale force winds and howling rain and it didn't affect performance of tent a bit.

The Quechua base is great and remarkably stable, it feels a bit more "shut in" than our daytent though.
It's got mesh on the top of each door and with the canopies over each door you can open the mesh or the window up and still not have rain come in.
