returned on friday from a week away camping and are due to go again for another week on mon 10th .
I am absolutely knackered!!!.
We did have horrendous weather and have just put last load of washing in machine and now have at least 2 hours ironing to do to repack for next week.
food to replenish, tent still drying and that needs to be repacked.
Im not moaning as im looking forward to next trip as there will be 12 of us going away but does anyone else feel knackered when they return? I thought it was supposed to be relaxing!.

Camping is quite a physical activity and I think that is one of the reasons we all enjoy it. It is such a departure from our normal everyday lives. Pitching a tent, getting all the stuff inside, blowing up air beds, even walking across a field or two, to get the the loo, we are active much more than usual. Then of course you may not sleep quite as well as you do at home, or perhaps you wake up early with the light (I could have said 'sun', but that would be stretching the imagination too far) And then there is everything you do whilst on holiday, which is usually outdoors, and the packing up at the end !!
So Yes, I do feel tired after camping, but tired in a nice way, more relaxed, less stressed, but ready for a hot bath and a good nights sleep in my own bed.
