I think this year has been my busiest camping year ever, mainly with family or friends and once with my boyfriend!  Dont think he is in a hurry to go again.

My greatest triumph of the year was my first solo camp. Had a great time and cant wait to do it again.

However, I would also be up for meeting with other ladies for a camping trip. Great idea.

It would be a service for the discerning lady camper who wants to leave old grumpy at home, but would like some proper bloke with her just for company and to help with the tent and to share the fun of it all with. And there would be no charge, so long as the discerning lady covers for the site fees and transport costs. Hee hee, it's not just me that refers to my OH as Mr Grumpy then???

I went camping on my own with the kids last weekend and it was really nice....kids settled down really well at night, and there as no worrying that hubby wanted to get the fire pit started, or cooking on or anybody to worry about but me and the kids...

I am definitely going to do it again. Will check out the meet section.
