While we were away last week, some little scrote's decided that it would be fun to throw stones around the site that we were at, and one ended up going through the side of our Suncamp Vario 900 Annex pods.
Luckly the kids were asleep in the main tent section and were not harmed, but the owner of the site was not impressed and confronted the offenders as they caused quite a few problems.
I managed to patch up the tear with some repair tape, but my question is, what would be the best way to repair the rip. I have some material supplied with the tent, but thats it, just a patch of material.
I agree with ange, tenacious tape will be ideal, no glue no sewing, no problem and its clear, so almost invisible. I have used it to repair holes in the roof of my tent last year and its excellent.
Will get some tape and go from there. Will be easier as the tent is down now.
The evening after reporting the stones being thrown, I noticed that the offenders tents had gone, so I assume that they were asked to leave.
The site owners did tell me at the time that they would not stand for anybody being aggresive towards other members of the public or their staff, or causing damage to property.
I was just relived that none of the kids in the tent were hit with the stone.
Am I missing the point here? Surely the parents should make good the bad that has been done by the yobs. You have been inconvenienced and your abode damaged. It is good that they have been thrown off the site but why should you have to go through the pain without some recompense?
PS Tenacious tape was recommended on a previous thread and I purchased it on the off chance that I might need it. The reviews of other users are excellent.

I know what your saying about them paying for repairing the tent, but I was not in the mood for having a debate with them in the middle of a field. If the kids had been hit, then that would have been a different matter.
We went off site during the day, and when we returned the pitch had been vacated. It was on the way out in the morning that we noticed them and spoke to a member of staff.
