Just back this afternoon having used our Montana 6 for the first time. We are very pleased with it. We stayed at Marros near Pendine Wales with a couple of friends in their caravans we though we would be the poor relatives but the Monty was a star. We managed to get everything set up on Friday in less that 2 hours not bad as it was our first go with the new tent. The heavens opened Friday afternoon and we sat outside under the shelter of the canopy. Saturday and Sunday gave plenty of warmth and sunny spells so the dogs had most of the day in the sea. Saturday night gave a fantastic star show and the milkyway was very visable. We managed to pack up this morning before it rained on us but the tent is wet from a bit overnight so will need to put it up in the garden this week. Hope you like my pic of the photos we took
The kettle seems to appear in a lot of my pictures
notice the cheap B&Q tarp does the job but I think a footprint will be coming when we can, the blue is a bit bright!
Not an Outwell carpet either, we will be using the one from the horizon for a while when you lay out the carpet you realise how much bigger the Montana is
Its about to rain again

Looks like a lovely place and you would have had far more room in your Monty and kitchen tent than a caravan
If it was me, I wouldn't bother under your canopy with the blue tarp or replacing it - grass would be much nicer to look at and feel underfoot there, and less damage to the pitch for the next person. Tarp is fine for under the Monty though: noone can see it so the colour doesn't matter and as you don't need a special shape it does the job just fine. Well, that's what we always did with our Monty anyway.

You must have been across the bay from Cefn Sidan which is one of my favourite beaches!
yes thats right the beach pictures are Amroth beach. You can see the golden sands of Pembrey from here and right round the Gower it is a lovely part of Wales we go quite often as its less than an hour from home

I've only been to Cefn Sidan but have been over Llanelli way loads of times. Must look into sites in that area for future reference - my dogs loved the beach!
