£15 for a mini oven and free delivery - I will use it at home as well as camping and it will mean I can vary what I eat as I usually go away for three weeks and can really only afford to eat out once a week - and not at all this year! What do you all think? anyone think having one of these in a tent (with proper cooking area) is a good, money saving idea? I'd appreciate your thoughts - fowey x

Looks good - I'm hoping campers who use mini ovens mights have an opinion - I like the idea of taking a coffee maker - I just balance filter in a sieve over a jug!

thanks for the link, I've just ordered one. The people on the next pitch to me on the ukcs cornwall meet had one and it looked brill and she was really pleased with it. I went to get one from Currys (where theres had come from) but they were out of stock in store and delivery was £5.95. Glad I waited and read this link.

My sis in law got her mini oven from Wilkinsons for £14.99...but they have gone up to £16 now 17 Out of curiosity, do you know the wattage?

Lol thanks...that really is how we are! I refuse to have a messy tent, you just never know who's gonna peek in 17 And I want one of those teeny ovens, the kids will love me forever as I could do pizza's in that 17

Ordered tuesday got this morning 17.Tried out at home,it's 1500 watt,not the best quality but for £14.99 I'm certainly not moaning.

It does get very hot on the top,could be good for warming plates though?

So far very pleased and a bargain,well done for spotting it.17

Now, if you want a REAL camping oven, have a look at Gumball's photo on the "Stove that can cope !" thread in the Equipment forum.

That's what I call an oven ! You could fit a big chunk of cow in there, or maybe an ostrich ?
