I'd rather be next to them than next to folk who think that the weekend is for massive consumption of alcohol.

Having partaken in both in my time, if I had to ban one from campsites it would be the drink. Contentious maybe, but I've seen very few problems caused by grass as opposed to the huge problem of alcohol.

Well they seem to have taken the considerate tack of pitching up well away from anywhere else, so what's the problem?

Incidentally on my recent camping trip to a campsite just outside Amsterdam there was plenty of the herbal baccy aroma wafting around the campsite. Yet all in all it was a lot quieter and better behaved than a lot of sites I've been to in the UK, probably because the groupos of young folk there were NOT getting p*ssed and noisy, but getting mellow instead.

Very true. Ime people who are stoned rarely get aggressive, the same cannot be said of drunk people.
