I noticed that with the Golf, normal tyre psi all round is 32Lb, but fully laden 42Lb rear and 35Lb front, and the space saver spare runs at 60Lb!, also of course I had to let a whole bunch of air out of the tyres once past Lyon in France, due to the +40Deg C heat inflating them even more!, you can't be too carefull though as tyre pressures are quite important, and should be monitord daily. especialy as I was honking down the Autoroutes fully laden.
