Just had a great 4 night trip away - pretty basic as no electric but it was fantastic. Weather was glorious - too hot today when packing up though although it was nice to come home with a dry tent for a change! Everything is now neatly back in the camping store room ready for next time.

Tried out the new stove and kitchen stand - great - also tried crackle logs for the first time and was very impressed. Ben was mesmerised 17 -

And we had some lovely meals thanks to the Cobb -

Ive got one of them! They are actually BBQs you take the grill out of. I got mine from a big camping shop whose name escapes me!! The name on mine is  nothing famous but ive seen exactly the same item with an outwell sticker on it. My version cost £19.99, the outwell motif will cost you an extra £5! Yes they do fold flat

Yes, it's a BBQ and it came from Netto - was something like £12.99 I think. Useless as a BBQ imo but great as a fire pit and takes up no space at all.

Nice to hear you have had a great camping trip - it makes so much difference when you get good weather.

I have seen these Cobb ovens in camping magazines and have been tempted to buy one - the food looks great and nicely cooked.

And hello to a fellow foster carer 17
