Next time take the top and bottom apart and stash it behind the front carseats ,if you have kids with short legs. but splitting it will make it much easier to pack anyway.
I'd never be without mine now, used to hate emptying it though, but sem to have got used to it over the years.
if you use it for wees only you don't even have to use the chemicals if its being emptied every day. I used to just pour some toilet duck or similar in the top and bottom tanks, and when we got home I'd give it a good clean out with some bleach.

I used to say it was for wees only, but since the grandchildren came along and we were a long way from the loos that rule was scrapped . had to start using the chemicals again then . When I camped alone with the children I even had to use it myself as i couldn't leave the kids unattended.
Lining the bowl first with a few crossed over sheets of paper saves anything sticking to it

Well guys, we couldn't fit ours in the car after all!

Could have done with it, trips in the middle of the night were a bit ridiculous.

Had it been raining i think i'd have really missed it!

We take a bucket with a lid. When travelling we fit the gas bottle inside it isn't wasted space- there could be a pun in there!!

Have looked at the other options but they all seem to take up so much space. The bucket is fine for night time. OH refuses to use it but he never gets up in the night.

I empty it first thing in the morning and disinfect- somehow these things don't seem so bad when camping. 17

My Kamping Khazi is my best camping buy yet. The best £20 I have ever spent. I would not leave home without it and I dont have any kids!!! 17
I invested in one of these this year and it was a godsend on rainy nights in Norfolk. We were a good walk away from the toilet block which had security coded door, not very good in the dark if you are hurrying.
