Has anyone had a problem with their dog peeing on the tent (on the outside of tent I might add)- I now have to keep an eagle eye on him. Is there anything I could use to clean the area he goes for that wouldn't damage the tent, or anyway to prevent further incidents?

This easy to apply, water based, pure soap cleaner will enhance the performance and condition of all types of outdoor fabrics including tents, awnings and gazebos. As it does not contain detergent, it cleans effectively without stripping a treated fabric of any inherent water repellent treatment - in fact, it will help remove detergent residues which may be present in the fabric.

PMSL!!

Not sure as we've only had female doggies, that stuff look's good though, may get some of that for just cleaning bits of mud etc of my tent.

Thankfully so far when I've camped, we've been next to a hedge and previous occupants dogs must have pee'd there as my boys have done the "someone else pee'd here, I must too!" thing. 

Having said that, one night I woke up at about 4am, convinced that one of my boys was about to pee in the tent, right next to my bed 17  fortunately, he was just having a stretch though 17

We had human urine on our tent last year....my wonderful OH sponged it out with copious amounts of plain water......did the trick

My dog does it on the outside of my tent. I just wash it off with water, so far no problems. The bigger problem is that he has a thing for gnawing through guy lines. Could cause a bigger problem.
