We bought a pricey lantern to start off with but now much prefer our ufo light which was about three quid from Morrisons now! It is about the size of a side plate with a hole in the middle and two rings of little led lights around the circumference. Ours is white plastic and you can set different 'mood lighting' with the rings. Hope that helps :-)

They look like UFO's hence the name
I got mine from the local pound shop, its designed to go on a patio umbrella as well.
Mine isn't good enough to light the living area of our Khyam, but is ok for a light in the bedroom area.
We're staying at the Wigwams at Humblebee in October! Were they as good as they look?
Thanks for that, think I will have a look around a couple of pound shops and see if I can get one.
The wigwams are good, I think they are ideal for the colder/winter months, especially with the electric heater, kettle, microwave etc. They are not huge, so it can get a little cramped whilst trying to get dressed, although that will depend how many are staying in it. I have tried to add a picture of the inside
Be aware that some are better than others. The best I've tried are sold at ASDA and, I think, Wilkinsons. Two or three of them provide as much light in the living area of my Minny as I have in the living room of our house.
The Wilkinsons ones chuck out 4 watts when the batteries are fresh .. but naturally you don't get full brightness for very long... but LEDs are really good for extracting the last bit of juice from alkaline batteries and the blueish light works well with the human eye.
As soon as I took the back off my first one, I could see they were crying out for 12 volt conversion ... I even have them on my pushbike now :-
Force 8 or 9 at Trevedra - near Land's End last August after 10 days of battering.
I didn't get the tent down in time. (would have been difficult in any case).
One front joint failed, the pole separated and dropped and the whole lot came down under the weight of the hub - bending and breaking several pole sections - even cracked some paint off the bedroom frame ...
I plan to make some enhancements when I finally get around to ordering the new bits to prevent a future cascade failure.. (I was cross because Khyam and the supplier insisted I had to pay - only £35 though ...
This is what it was like at breakfast time when I was starting to think I might call it a day. :-
