we're thinking of self inflating mats. We're using camp beds at the moment, but are finding them to bulky and mats are slightly smaller.

 

Are they comfortable? more or less so than camp beds and/or air beds. Help please.

Where can I find the best and which are the best on a budget (in your opinion)

I think the mats seem expensive, we had a couple but much prefer air beds, you can get an double air bed for the price of two of those mats.

We've got mats (Gelert 10cm jobbies) as we got fed up of pumping up airbeds in the night!

Yes, they're bulkier than airbeds but even when my 6 yr old decided to use daddy's as a trampoline and split it, at least I got some support (definitely better than deflated airbeds)!

ok. a question here from someone who has never used or bought an air bed. . can they be inflated with a cycle pump.if they can. then i may buy one.
