That is my ultimate set up LOL

In all honesty...we haven`t tried that with a cabanon yet......but I think we`ll be struggling!

We started off buying or thinking we couldn't live without everything we saw on the net or in the shops. Thankfully we didn't succumb and spend loads. More at OHs insistence than mine!

Over the years we have shed quite a few items that we either didn't use or were useless. I took Vals excellent advice and at the end of each trip made a note of things we didn't use and then got shot.

We now have a very manageable set up for weekends and longer trips.

The only thing we take too much of is clothes. I am paranoid about being caught out by the weather and have to take stuff for all seasons!

My wife and I have just returned from our first trip together although I camped a lot before we married. As we unpacked, we took time to go through our gear, and separated out the stuff we took that didn't get used, the stuff we did use but could have done without, and the essential stuff.

I resisted the temptation to say "I told you we wouldn't need that" a zillion times, but it was a worthwhile exercise.

We have it all nicely separated and stored in the shed, so we can just grab and go if the opportunity arises.
