How do you clean the tent carpet?

ours got blood on it and a ull bottle of shampoo leaked on it!!!

So it needs cleaning there's no way it'll fit in the washing machine, so do i take it to the laundrette or dry cleaners?

Thanks,

Chelle

You could try the bath. At least you would have some control over what it is cleaned with. It will be a bit physical though.

Just checked the cleaning details, it simply says can be brushed, hoovered or sponge cleaned.

So i think it is not suitable for the dry cleaners or rven the laundrette machine.

Fingers crossed for good weather so i can sponge it and then get it out to dry on the washing line

Blood stain removal

There is other advice for different kind of stains as well.

I had to remove a 1/4 lb of melted butter and some chocolate milk from ours.  I chose not to wash the whole carpet

If space is tight fold the carpet until the stains are showing, remove excess stain and then sponge clean.

As the carpet hairs are quite short, they dry very quickly. You could use a towel to remove excess moisture and if you are drying a relatively small area you could use a hairdryer.

Good luck

Over the washing line, treat the stain.Wash down with the hose and window squeegee to get out excess water.I had to do this when mine got thick with mud.
