The inner sheet of my tent is torn, it is right in the middle of a pannel, not on a seam where I could have stitched it. The tent is a Vango Alpha 300 and I may have torn it during packing up in a rush (it was raining) with the metal studs that come with it. The material is polyester or nylon, I cannot remember exactly, it is almost a see through fabric.

How do I fix it? Any replies will be much appreciated

Tenacious tape is excellent stuff.

Cut it a little larger than the tear, round of the edges then stick it over the tear. You can do both sides to make it stronger.

But dont pack the tent away until the tape is dry or it might stick to bits where you dont want it and that would not be a good thing :)

Or there is something similar called tear aid which is very flexible.

But tenacious tape worked for us and once dry, stays put

I'm by no means an expert but have read a lot about tenacious tape for repairing the outside of tents so guess it would do the same inside (is the tear in a bedroom pod?).

The tape is clear and apparently has a matt finish so won't show too much. Loads of places stock it online as a long strip that you cut to size.

I'm sure some of the experts out there could offer some more advice...!
