Many moons ago when my children were aged 2 and 7, [they're 28 and 33 now!!]  we camped for three and a half months whilst looking for somewhere to live. It was a brilliant time.  We didn't have an EHU in those days and none of us appeared to miss out on anything. The weather was great and the children were in the best of health being out in the fresh air all day.

Just wondered whether many of you have camped for that long and what your experience was like xxxx

We stayed in our Sungari for four weeks over the summer after a fire in our house made us homeless. The insurance company would have paid for a hotel but we have animals and a young daughter and didn't think that a hotel long term was the best option.

My Dad let us use his back garden so we had the best of both worlds - great facilities but a bit of space from Dad so we didn't get on each other's nerves (too much )

If the weather had been better it would have been a more enjoyable experience, but it rained pretty much non-stop for the first three weeks and we suffered terrible condensation (far more than we get in the Tigris for some reason). We had to rig up an EHU and use Dad's dehumidifier in there.

I was very glad when we were finally able to move into a rental house and we could go back to camping for fun!
