Well we came back home yesterday after one night at the blue dolphin near filey,

The area is lovely and we were supposed to be stopping till friday but the wind killed our 1998 polycotton ridgidome we have had from new ;(

When we got back to the site one of the joints had snapped in the wind and i had only one spare of that particular joint we struggled in the wind to replace it then i put 2 extra guys on that pole, just as i was going to attach more guys to the other pole that was taking the strain the first one went again then the second one went and to add to it all a big gust hit right after and took out 2 more joints,

Sadly the tent ended up in the bin on site was sad to see it go we have had many holidays in it, Suppose better start looking at new tents now

Sorry to hear this, but as dezzie say's there's always a bright side.

Chin up eh.  

My condolences, Klunk.  A dead tent is always a sad loss.
