I have a Vango Sungari 600 which is exactly the same as Columbia but without the porch. It is very similar to the Monty although the Vango does have the slightly bigger living space and the whole front opens where as the Monty has just a door at the back.
With the Vango, the SIG flaps down by the doors so you don't have to step over when using any of the doors you have a flap of SIG that lays out that you clip up when the doors are shut. Whereas with the Monty the SIG curves up to the door meaning you need to step over it. If this makes sense!!!!
I brought the Sungari without seeing a Monty and I think I prefer the Monty's door thing as it is all complete but with the vango, in theory, insects and things can still crawl in as the groundsheet is only attached by toggle fasteners inside the door areas.
I hope this makes sense!!!
They are the main differences that I could spot on looking round the Monty, that and the luminous guys
I can't comment re the porch though as the Sungari doesn't have one.
We are selling our Sungari 600 and accessories as we have gone polycotton if your interested
