Only noise I heard all weekend at Pilaton was ducks quacking...and them nasty wee light aircraft buzzing us during the day...But you get used to that..Should say that from certain points on the site...You could(If you were looking in that directioon) see cars and lorries passing way WAY in the distance...But no traffic noise as I recall....

Sorry to sound silly - but is this were people from here all meet?
We only found camping this year - or it found us not sure! But would love to meet more people/families who go camping.
Have a three year old Harry, who loves making friends and Archie who is 4 months who i am sure will be the same, so to know there are going to be people at the campsite would be brillant!
It's one of the meets that has been organised this year and it happened this weekend and it was fantastic! It was a first time meet for a lot of people but we all had a great time. All the meets are listed here and you can pop your name down to join any, for Pillaton we had to book with the site and pay them but let Keely know we were going so she could keep track.
There's one in the early planning stage for Greenacres in Oxfordshire next summer!
mia it is great especially for the children my 5yr old has special needs but loved it and made friends with another child i was so relaxed and thoroughly enjoyed it
We are also going to the one in cornwall - south west meets chycarne not many pitches left looks excelent and last year they had great fun.
