I see your point.

In that case.. tying one of guylines to your car and dragging him across to another pitch might have worked?  He was prob too drunk to notice lol

What I find odd though is that alcohol makes a person pee but he got up, packed and left without peeing?

Hope he didnt go in the bushes.

Long ago at a site in Cheddar we were kept awake all night by the most volcanic snorer in the history of camping!  He was in the tent next door, and every time his wife poked him awake, the whole site (and it's a big 'un!) heaved a communal sigh of relief!

That was quite a night for noise, though.  Not only was Uber-Snorer busy all night, but at four am a donkey in the next field began braying, the cockerel began crowing, and at six they were joined by grit lorries from the quarry, making a huge row every five minutes as they rumbled by laden with stone.  At seven the clay-shooters or local farmers (we never worked out which!) got going with their guns!  It went beyond exasperating and became hysterical!

Just bad luck, I suppose, and since none of it was irresponsible or intentional noise, you just have to larf!

OH snores so loud i've got up & slept on sofa to escape (tried prodding/kicking he wakes up then starts again) I am a pretty good snorer but he wins hands down, B*****D !  

Never mind, I'm much better at talking, swearing & screaming (bloodcurdlingly) in my sleep.

They dont call me buzzsaw for nothing...nuff said...Just had a thought...UKCS do posters for meets etc with your username on them..Maybe we should all get one made up with a warning printed on them..."Beware of the snorer"...Loud ZZZzzzzzzz's could emit from this tent anytime between 10pm-7am....You have been warned...LOL!!...Or...as your neighbours arrive and pitch..you saunter over..hand them a packet of earplugs..and say..."Here...your going to be needing these"..That should get them thinking about their choice of pitch and their proximity to your tent...
