I have had a few cheapies from millets last couple of weeks...

Coleman northstar lantern and 2 propane gas canisters for £35.

5 beakers for 5 quid (red matches wifes melamine set)

wellies £8.00

wifes wellies £12.00

outwell pan set £30

sporks (don't ask wife has a fetish for them (6 for £6)!

 89 stores ; mainly Freespirit , some Millets and Blacks are closing . The Millets and Blacks ones that are going are the 'failing' ones . Out of a few hundred stores , 89 is hardly 'most' .

 Ours isn't closing , and we've been quite busy despite a few in our locality closing .

 Ok chill out, That is what we we're told by an employee, Perhaps he meant in our area,!

 

Our local shopping centre has a Millets, a Blacks and a Freespirit and they're all going. Shame we couldn't have kept one.

Our Freespirit could be wating a very long time to sell all the junk they have left and none of it that cheap.

I did manage to get a bargain though from Millets, a canopy for our Minnesota 6 for £20. Funny thing is, the person who served me said they weren't going to put them out as they didn't think anyone would be interested.

In Edinburgh there is Blacks and Millets in the same street and there wasnt many bargains there, Blacks only seemed to have clothes and it was the gents which had bargains, but not very good ones at that. Hope Blacks doesnt close as I quite like it.

Do u have alist of stores closing?

I'm wondering if the ones local to me are closing?

Would be either Croydon or Sutton?

No list , but I think if your local was going to close you'd have noticed by now . I think the plan was to close them by the end of the month .

The ones near me have mostly gone this weekend .

Some might still be trading but it will be at a 70 % discount , so there might be still some bargains to be had  

Croydon and Sutton aren't in my area , so not too sure tbh . Will see if I can find out anymore when I go in this morning .
