Hi all just had bacon sandwiches looking out of the only tent on the campsite yes we are the only hardcore campers on this site. It's been raining all night but at least we got set up yesterday in the sunshine.

lol BMF742 we were in durham last week at strawberry hill in our tent last weekend and we were the only tent there!!!!! we were lovely and warm though.

we are going this weekend to but we will not be the only tent there as we are we are meeting with dadsbeenie mad and ujb4009 ................ hope your having a fab time!!!!

we dropped my daughter [19] and a friend off yesterday, set up camp for her made it all cosy and guess what? she telephoned this morning to ask us to go and fetch her back, she now hates camping LOL

My camping equipment was loaded into the car today, ready for tomorrow.  All I need to do is put the clothes and the dog into the car and of we go. can't wait!!!!!!!!!!!     the weather forcast does'nt look too bad either.

We're all ready to go Monday.  After worrying we might all be too cold at this time of year the forecast is for a mild week!

Everybody I've told we're going camping this week has looked as me as if I'm mad but I can't wait now.

Yes, the car's packed up all ready for the off tomorrow morning - can't wait!

Forecast is for blustery wind though - hope it's reasonable while I'm trying to pitch!

Ya lucky sods....I'm hoping to find time for 2 days off at end of week. One will be taken up getting 'bus to someone for MOT work and trying to find a replacement car to use, the other ONE WHOLE DAY will hopefully be spent going off on an overnight camp.

Changing the clocks last night didn't help woke up an hour early. Heck it was windy last night lucky the pegs are still in. Very happy with are new Norfolk lake don't rattle in the wind like the polyester ones we have had in the past.

Oh man, soo wish I had heater's etc, I would have put a few day's in somewhere, but as it is I wouldn't be able to take more than one child as our Mondeo packed up and I justh ave my little Yaris17
