FoO....what bike did you have? I had a KTM620 EXC up until a few years ago, but found it too heavy for tight sections on enduro courses (I wasn't very fit at the time). Since changed for a KTM200EXC that I'm about to MOT and tax again - love winter riding to work!
Mmmm... wish mine had been a 620!
Mine was very 'umble by comparison! Just a little Honda 90 I would have loved a bigger bike, but got married and had kids and we pooled our resources and got a car instead.
It was a heavy bike for the power, and not stylish by any standards, but it was my 'Easy Rider' machine - my stake on the open road - and I had a lot of fun with it.
Not quite so keen as you on winter riding, after I overturned on a patch of black ice on the factory car-park, and all the lads were lined up at the window, laughing at me! Considering I couldn't get up, and had a heavy bike on its side, with the wheels still spinning and petrol possibly leaking out, I thought they were no gentlemen!
I had some pride in it, though, and didn't appreciate my MIL calling it "your little put-put!" !
Hey I see the roof-tents can be much bigger than the Ebay one looked. That one in your photo looks pretty cool, Val!
