we have now moved to the dark side and have been caravanning for 12 months. We have sold most of our old camping kit but still have kit specifically for our Monty6 such as the side canopy and the front extension. I intend to keep the Monty just in case the kids want to use it or if we need to go away without the caravan. However I dont think we will ever use the canopy and extension again so I will be sellling it. I therefore have 2 questions. How long is it worth keep ing the Monty without using it before it starts to decay/degrade in its bag, and when will be the best time to sell the 2 canopies.

I have got good prices for stuff mid May as people are looking for stuff for the end of May BH usually. Alternatively as the Monty add ons always sell well you could put them on at a buy it now price after Xmas and I bet they'd sell. Or try Preloved, its free and evey camping thing I've ever put for sale on there has sold quickly.

I would question if its worth keeping the tent, they go for really good money.

You have nothing to lose by whacking it on the free ads now on this site  and see what interest you get for now
