Aren't both the tents in your profile within the 5m X 9m limit? If not you could try phoning the site a few days before the opening date (25 March) when presumably you'd have as good a chance as anyone else of securing a "Jumbo" size pitch, if indeed there are any at that site.
I have just tried a dummy booking using your dates with our tent ( an Outwell SV6) 6.5 x 4.0m.
And got the same as you, phone the C&C Club to query this, sometimes you have to book direct with the site if you have a tent..God knows why.

Happens a lot, I have had same problem and managed to book over phone with c&cc staff, but they were confused and had to ring back when got a solution as site was closed until March. Makes the online booking system a farce.
It seems if you have a caravan or motorhome there is never a problem, mention tent and.....
When we tried to book Hereford in September,we had to book direct with the site because we had a tent.Saying that we have booked other sites many, many times online without problems.

You could always try ringing the HQ reservations department. They have always been quite helpful when I've had to ring them.

i always use the site for seeing if theres room then book by phone ,i feel safer quoting my card number to the nice lady than doing it online to a robot or stranger
