I can recall earlier this year a fault in the Icarus from some purchasers of this tent inasmuch as the gap between the door flap and the SIG was enough to let in water if it rained. I think that some of it was cured by applying velcro to the door flap.
ArtJackson.....how do i get smileys onto this forum without doing it as a link? i use other forums, just copy and paste, but doesn't seem to work like that here?

Hi,
Yes, i was reading some of the reviews for it lol Apparently, the 2010 version has had it's design modified. There's now mesh on the front door and a place to hang your light. Maybe they'll have sorted the flap, as well?
Hi
We wanted an Icarus 500, but they were all sold out when we were buying last year, so we got a 400. You've made a great choice if the 400 is anyhting to go by, we love ours, and it withstood some serious gales and storms last August when other sturdier looking tents collapsed.
I did put the recommended velcro on the bottom of the main door, and it seriously reduced the draft and chance of rain getting in.
Thanks kyoto49 I was looking at the 400, 500 & 600 and decided the 500 would be best for me regarding the head height and living area versus cost of purchasing
glad to hear you're happy with yours. It's reviews from actual owners that put my mind at rest when buying stuff lol
I'm moving from an Argos/proaction tent so it's a bit of a step going for a brand name tent :-) I'm imagining the quality is going to be much higher than my old one
