I've just called the Blackmore C&CC site to ask about their jumbo pitches and have been informed that they don't have EHU. This is apparently the same across most sites offering the larger pitch size...

Has anyone found a C&CC site that does have EHU on the jumbo pitches? Seems that although a good idea it could have been made even better?

(I think I'm a bit annoyed as my tent is only 70cm too wide for a standard pitch with EHU!!!)

They're going to get back to me about letting us stay on a standard EHU pitch so fingers crossed...

We're looking to go in June - I guess we might be lucky if we avoid the school holiday at the beginning of the month.

I was looking in the ''Your Place in the Country' guide - the prices in there are also higher than on the C&CC website so I think they've got some updating to do!

The lady I spoke to at Blackmore confirmed that they have jumbo pitches available in June but without the EHU that we'd like.

Just wanted EHU for cool box and heater if it's chilly at night. Is also good for my little one to watch the occasional DVD if the weather's bad.

Have managed to find a nice site quite close to Blackmore - not C&CC but has good reviews on here. Price is a bit cheaper and has EHU. Biggest bonus is that they are fine with the size of the tent. Have booked 7 nights in June.
