Bears aside, I fear it is quite true.

This camping lark has cost me a fortune - I think a two week apartment in the Costas every year would be about the same. Plus my house, attic and shed would not be crammed full of camping gear.

But heh - what the hell, I do like the camping or do I really like buying the camping gear ?
