hi contacted my local tent dealer about a cabanon tent and he says that they were having problems and had either been bought out or had gone bust can anyone confirm this .
I think I read something about this on here over the last few years. So it might be true, but I dont think there's a shortage of places to get the Cabanons. Could be wrong though, and im sure someone will know better than me.

Cool campers use Delta Pegs.

The Dunkerque factory(visible on right after A25 junction on A16 towards Belgium)is closed. It appears they have been bought by Huttopia(of the wooden cabin campsites fame)Found this about it if you read French. Its dated last March, nowt more recent that I can find. If the brand does reappear I'm guessing product will be made in China or eastern Europe.
I contacted Cabanon a couple of weeks ago and got a reply, also I just had a dealer contact them to get a price for an annexe, as of two days ago they said they could supply with a four weak lead time.
As stated in a previous post they have been bought out, but there is no word yet of new production. If there was there would be publicity & a new brochure. One might be have to beware of dealers trying to unload old stock. I would be suprised if such a well known brand was to dissappear but if you google both in English & French there is very little info.
I doubt that they have gone bust, in the true sense of the word, fact is they have been busy suplying thier commercial customers with "All Season Polyester" models, replacing ageing "Cotton" tents for that sector of the market, also they launched two new TT models early 2009, I think the retail tent side of the business is not there main focus at this time, I am sure they will bounce back before to long.
