Is it sad that whilst watching it I'm trying to get a good look at the tents to see exactly what they are? Even sadder to be pausing and rewinding it????
just finished watching it....i enjoy the prog, but like you i look at the tents and want to be on the campsite with them, roll on Springtime!!! (April).............However sorry but i dont pause and rewind!!!

get out there and live!!!
I noticed they were Gelert and then wondered if they actually spent the night in them or if they were just there for show
Last week when they went to Skye they had completely different tents - proper canvas frame ones and it actually looked like they would be staying in them.
I don't just watch for the tents ............ honestly
I was convinced that the one behind Bill was my Hi Gear tent till I noticed the Gelert logo on it...Same pole system same guy's even the same zip up window at the front..Seen the prog twice(landed on it while flicking through channels)Only interested in the bits with the tents on...Sad old Camper that I am...........

Hang on Andy I'll get my son to read your post..cos the ribbing I've had off him while claiming that was my Gobi 4(then seeing the Gelert name on it) has been unbelievable (Not that we generally sit arguing about tents you understand..... )

I'm pretty sure they call the Gelert version the "Ottowa"..... Not that i'm a tent geek or anything, you understand!!!
That is right, as is my Hi Gear Electron being the same as the Gelert Newland, this of course i found out in my thorough research when looking for a tent for me and the kids
I haven't watched the Bill Bailey programme, but i do tend to notice and comment on tents etc on TV, my family just give me the 'oh god here she goes again' look.

Anyone would think I spend a lot of time looking at tents on UKCS or online camping stores...???
why would anyone ever think that Andy - can't understand ............
not like you read camping books for bedtime reading or anything.
