Hi I have an outwell hartford xxl carpet for my tent, that is kinda hexagonal..it was still a bit too small for my tent I can't say i've seen round ones though.....

I thought twice about resurrecting this thread so apologies if you think it should remain dead.
Whilst browsing around for a carpet that would fit my tent (nightmare - the only way is trawling through every tent and noting its living area size – time to start a spreadsheet I think) I came across this company.
Very pricey, but round! I also think they look very good quality so would be heavy (as in weight, not like, erm, "heavy man").
sounds like a good plant with the blankets and dustsheet, bet it turns out fine. Can't say i'm too chuffed with my outwell carpet pattern in the tent, but do like the floor covered, post a pic when you've done it!
My TT was called a Raclet Hex..Cos the awning was hexagonal.. Doh!! and came with its own hexagonal ground sheet....
Absolutely no Idea where you would get a made to measure one..But I would have thought a g/sheet slightly larger than the dimensions of your tent..and a bit of inventive shaping and scrunching up..folding etc would solve the prob if you cant get hold of a made to measure one..held down by all your gear..cooker..table etc at the edges would suffice in an emergency??
Jelboy.

there's a seller on eBay just now selling Outwell carpets at £10 bin Each piece is 6ft tapering to 5ft x 6ft
I used a extra breathable groundsheet on top of the zipped in grounsheet from the camp shop in Norwich. Bought 2 lengths of 5m then cut it to the shape of the bell tent. Cost about £100. Folds up easy and not to heavy. Looking for something thicker and warmer though.
Didnt like the coir matting. Itchy, heaver and easily stained.

We hire out luxury Soulpad bell tents, glamping style.
We have real carpet which would probably suit your needs better than a regular tent carpet (assuming it is for the pre pitched bell tents).
I originally bought 4x 4mx 1.5m (approx.) pieces of quality offcut for £10 each but found that as we have 5 camp beds in half the tent we only needed carpet for half. On the visable half we have a lovely quality hessian backed piece then at the entrance I have cut to shape and edged with strong gaffa tape a lush hessian backed carpet which looks best hessian side up! I still put a carpet protector at the entrance (used to use a picnic rug) to protect the carpets from muddy feet that like to enter the tent before removing footwear. The carpet doesn't quite reach the sides but we have furniture at the edges and a rug to hide this fact.
For our 5m I bought two large carpets from discontinued tents for £10 each at GO, sewed them together and cut to shape. Fitted eyelets at the corners and peg them down with mushroom pegs. Also a cheap plastic of the same size under to keep the underside clean.
We just bought out new tent from Attwools near Gloucester. We didn't like the vango carpet that would fit it (light grey) as it would show the mud so much with three kids and a dog! Attwools made us a carpet in their factory behind the shop. Might be worth googling them and giving them a call.
