Thanks for the welcome everyone.
We are looking forward to our trip to Silvercraigs, Kirkcudbright, during the Easter holidays. It is a good way to try out the new tent as we will be close to my parents so we can see them whilst still having a place of our own!!
Have a fantastic time and no nipping into your mums for anything !!! You're on the slippery slope now, you'll be buying allsorts now, stuff you need, stuff you think you need and even stuff you don't ! We've got tons of all three types !! Remember the golden rule.... DON'T TAKE IT SERIOUSLY.. YOU'LL GO NUTS !

Hi again. And remember golden rule number two. Tent pitching almost always leads to a row. This can be easily sorted out later with a liberal intake of what you fancy.
Thanks everyone, going to Skipton at Easter - will try and post some pics. Keep your fingers crossed that we get the tent up!! Only done it once before, the first and last time we used it (bit different from the frame tent we had before!!) we were lucky enough to be pitched beside a group of campers in various outwells who were fantastic and helpful to us!.
getting a tent up on site will be easy ,as if you get in trouble some one will help .. i have .

Hey, we never have a row when pitching the tent ... doesn't stop the liberal intake of what you fancy though
Just realised I don't post on here very often (but do lurk a lot!). Don't think I've said hello ... HELLO ALL!
