I've seen recommendations for the use of Dunelm fleece/thermal mattress covers over airbeds. Is there a reason why these are better than Wilko's equivalents? If they are better, I'll buy online rather than popping into Wilkos.

Not for me - it was just that Dunelm was the easiest place and best price at the time for me.
Someone posted they were at a good price there so a lot of us descended and bought them - as we do if someone posts a good deal for somethign we all 'need'

I had one from Dunelm, it was great - nice and toasty warm. Then we changed to an aerobed which came with its own cover so we never used it....it's now in the dogs bed

and they tell me they love it

We use the Dunelm ones as it was so easy to order on line and they were delivered 2 days later.
Really made a huge difference to the beds and a fitted sheet finish them off nicely!!

Woofers now why didn't I think of that...........we have two redundant ones due to a new aerobed and it will take my little girl Lab at least a day to eat through it

Just had a look on the Dunhelm site looks like they got some good stuff in. Think it might be a trip to dunhelm and then over the road to B&M on thursday for me.

Thanks to the suggestions, I got 2 Wilko's fleecy mattress covers/ protectors yesterday... about £6.50 for the double.

I've had chance now to try them out - they fit the longer length of our Coleman Maxi Comforts (both the double and single) a treat and their fitted sheet design means that we don't need anything to hold them in place either. The fleecy bit covers all the bed apart from the pillow area by design. Can feel the difference in insulation even in the house... A good buy I think!
