I'm mostly pitching according to plot size and the location of the people around me. But since I'm prefering to go non ehu I have the choice of going to open campsites where no plots are laid out. Hence my question.
My tunnel (which is ordered from the scout shop but won't be in until april) and my geodesic both have a front and back, so bum into the wind there.
The vis a vis 6 man has about the same footprint size and shape as the other two, except the doors are in a different place. The plot size usually dictates that its pitched sideways, looking right into someone elses tent!
It'll be the new tunnel I'll be taking touring this year though.
